The king is dead! Long live the king! 3DBOXX is now APEXX. If you’ve taken a tour of our website lately, you’ve discovered a major change in our products. Instead of 14 different desktop products, we’ve consolidated our lineup into two desktops, with a third arriving next month. While we still have a few 3DBOXX workstations which have yet to make the transition (but will do so by year’s end), we’re making this change now in order to greatly simplify your BOXX experience.
We believe that creative and engineering professionals require the right tools for the right job. To help you determine what that tool is, we begin by having a conversation about your workflow. That’s why we lead with a solutions narrative and not a product one.
When you visit our website, you’ll discover solutions pages designed specifically for your industry and focused on the workflow challenges you face. This is how we’re able to identify the hardware that is going to make the most profound impact on your day to day work. Are you an Autodesk® Revit® user or do you spend? If so, then CPU frequency is critical to your workflow. Do you spend a lot of hours rendering? If the answer is yes, then let’s have a conversation about renderPRO, the dual Intel® Xeon® sidekick to any BOXX workstation. Or perhaps you’re using V-Ray RT and are interested in GPU final rendering, which, if that’s the case, we need to have a discussion about loading up on more GPUs. Perhaps you’re looking at local simulations with ANSYS or CATiA. In that case, those dual Intel® Xeon® workstations, like the APEXX 4, are going to get the job done! Going on the road? We’ve got you covered there, too.
Based on these types of conversations, we’ll be able to focus on the product line that best suits you. The perfect maximum frequency workstation for users of Revit, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, Maya, etc. is APEXX 2, and once you arrive at its product detail page, you’ll immediately discover which APEXX 2 variant offers that desired maximum frequency. You may also encounter a few more options that better suit your unique workflow or budget. At BOXX, we want to work with you, educate you on the bottlenecks you may face with your specific applications, and help you find the solution that best fits your budget.
The multi-national commodity builders do not know what it takes to run your professional applications. Their go-to solution is to load you up with dual Intel Xeons and multiple GPUs regardless of your workflow. While those exceptional components and configurations have their place, and in that case we offer elite workstation configurations in the APEXX 4, they are often times going to cost you more money without offering the incremental performance increase you need.
From media & entertainment, architecture, and product design, to manufacturing, engineering, and simulation, your industry is unique. However, all are extremely competitive. As powerful software solutions open up a new world, offering the ability to create and deliver amazing products and services, you need an advantage to keep you creating and not waiting. Why is that important? You need to get your bids in faster, get your jobs done on time, and be able to take on more work in order to increase profits for your business. And as always, our products are designed and manufactured right here in the United States and expertly supported by our legendary, in-house support that doesn’t rely on tiered scripts.
Don’t let your competition get an edge on you. BOXX customers get more done faster than they ever did with Dell or HP. Try our new APEXX family of high performance workstations and experience hardware purpose-built to give YOU the edge.
